TEACHING
Utah State University 
2008—present
Courses taught: Folklore Colloquium (Folklore and Death), Introduction to Museum Studies, Museum Development, Introduction to Writing: Academic Prose, Persuasive Research Writing. Accomplishments: Three students in two semesters received department writing awards for outstanding work; student evaluations well exceed the department average ratings.

MUSEUM
Curator Museum of Anthropology, Utah State University, 2008-2010, Interim Curator, 2011-2012
Oversight of all museum operations including but not limited to exhibition development and interpretation, grant writing and implementation, collections care, public outreach, event and educational program development, marketing and public relations, and instruction of undergraduate and graduate students in museum development topics. Accomplishments: Increased community visitor rates by 35% in first year, and development of the first bilingual audio interpretation program for the museum.

PHOTOGRAPHER 
2001—Present
Documentary, fine art, commercial, portrait, editorial photography, post-capture digital processing, traditional film photography, non-silver alternative processes. Most recent work is in culture related topics and portraiture for books and sustainability start-up. Accomplishments: Work has been shown in 20+ exhibits and published in books, magazines, websites, and CD art. Future emphasis will be in work developing non-photographic processes that use photographs as a launch point rather than an end.

WEB AND GRAPHIC DESIGN
2001--2013
Concept & design web sites for content and desired audience; create storyboards for architecture of site; write detailed specifications for development, create image and navigation graphics. Accomplishments: Designed and implemented over 20 websites, some of which remain operational continuing to meet clients’ needs.    

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Analyst, Client Systems Development Manager, Systems Project Manager in Sales and Marketing Support, 
Maritz, Inc. 1985—93, 1997—2001.
Directed staff of approximately 23 permanent and contract Systems Analysts/Programmers designing client performance improvements systems, direct mail campaigns, and customer satisfaction programs. Accomplishments: Coordinated and consulted in development of business plan to launch eBusiness division of Maritz; initiated and developed plan to migrate entire department from mainframe computers to PC platform, 100% retention of staff throughout four years in management position.
