Juliann

Graduating from a medical residency is no small feat. I designed this necklace especially for my  daughter, Juliann, when she completed the long journey. I couldn't be more proud of her. She is an amazing woman. The necklace and matching bracelet are made of glass seed beads, crystals, and sterling silver.

Flower Garden

A flower garden that frames the face! I made this particular version for my daughter Emily to celebrate her successful completion of her first marathon. The original design is by Lynda Taylor as seen in April/May 2011 Beadwork Magazine.

Flower Gone

I love Lynda Taylor's Flower Garden necklace so much that I decided to do another one with variations. This one is made of glass seed beads, crystals, and a crystal rivoli center for the flower.

But, alas, a sad story goes with this necklace and is responsible for its name. I mailed this to my daughter for her birthday, but it never arrived. It was lost, stolen, destroyed in the mail before it got to her. Luckily, I insure everything so it was covered financially but that's not the point, is it? It is a Flower Gone. Farewell, I hope you are having a grand life.

Oh, and if you see anyone wearing it, let me know.

Emily

Birthdays are special. I made this for my daughter Emily to celebrate her birthday, choosing Japanese glass beads in colors that I know she loves.  The hand-beaded clasp is a focal point whether worn in back or in front.

Herringbone Weave Straps

The herringbone weave is the basis for the strap in the Flower Garden necklace by Lynda Taylor. The combination of the tubular beads and the weave create a beautiful piece all alone so I followed my whims and created some straps that are stand-alone beautiful and comfortable to wear. This style drapes around the body and actually feels like it floats on the skin. Each variation has a special feature, giving them unique statements. Materials: Glass beads and sterling silver.

Silver Blue
This strap is beautiful in its simplicity.  The herringbone weave of glass tubular beads creates an interesting pattern and the silver-lining of the beads creates the elegant glow.

Gold Crystal
This herringbone weave choker is created with gold-lined crystal glass hex-cut seed beads and accented with 24KT gold-plated beads along the lower edge. It is the perfect necklace for any color clothing and holds its own with both evening gowns and jeans. Length: 15" but can be special ordered in a longer version.

Black & Palladium
This is a black glass and palladium plated version that stands alone in its simple beauty.  Palladium is a precious metal often used in 19th-century non-silver print making. This piece is a bit narrower, creating a sleek look and is 18" around. Any size can be reproduced as a special order.

Ocean Limes
Color jumps out with this bright version of the herringbone choker but with a twist: the beads are triangular rather than hex and fall together in a most delightful pattern. This is a one-of-a-kind piece so don't let it pass you by.

Blue-lined Topaz
This Herringbone version is vibrant in its simple design but has the bling of gorgeous beads to take it to the next level.  The clasp is adorned with two smokey blue Czech Crystals to set it apart, making it an area of interest whether worn in front or back.

Peyote Panel Choker

The glorious leaf beads live alongside Czech crystal bicones. They are complemented by the rustic gray peyote and green beads of the choker panels. This piece is about 14.5" around so fits on the neck a bit higher, making it a true choker, reminiscent of steam punk fashion. This is a one-of-a-kind item and can be reproduced only with a different focal bead selection.

Melanie

I designed this for my dear friend Melanie for her 50th. She doesn't look a day over 30! It features a luscious natural stone suspended from a peyote beaded choker of glass seed beads. The center design elements include two crystal antique rosary beads, glass bugle beads, and sterling silver bead caps. The clasp is also sterling silver.

Beverly

Something about Birthdays! This was custom made for my dear friend Beverly. She has been an inspiration in so many areas of my life. I'd be lost without her. Where would we be without our dearest friends?

Twisted Crystals Strap

his piece reminds me of something Cleopatra might have worn on a more leisurely day. Its elegant lines evoke an uncomplicated mood giving way to the whimsical  feel of the Czech crystal adornment along the lower edge. Length: 16".
